If you are at least 18 years old and have been disturbed by the airport's ground noise, you can file in small claims court. Ground noise could be the back blast of jets during takeoff or landing, or it can be the testing of engines during the night.

You do not need to own or rent property.

You do not have to have suffered monetary damage.

Unless there's some sort of Zoom alternative that the court offers, you will be expected to appear in court. Your statement could be 30 seconds; you could have a witness tell the judge what you've heard/felt/smelled because of the ground noise.

You will not be questioned by the defense. Odds are the judge will not question you. You will not sit in a chair facing the room.
