Displaying an ongoing pattern that suggests unnecessary postponement of hearings, the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) has not paid people after the judge awarded compensation in Round Two.
March, 2020 - The judge rendered her verdicts.
April, May, June, 2020 - We patiently waited for payment, giving CCSF the benefit of the doubt due to covid-19 circumstances.
July, 2020 - We sent a letter to CCSF, requesting payment; CCSF informed the court that they'd appeal the judge's decision (as they had also done in Round One, unsuccessfully).
August, 2020 - The San Mateo Courts provided two August dates for the appeal hearing.  The CCSF declined those dates, stating they'd be requesting a change in venue to a more "neutral" county other than San Mateo or San Francisco.
September, 2020 - At the change-of-venue hearing, the City's request was denied.
October 20, 2020 - The start of Round Three; appearance in Redwood City small claims court
November 6, 2020 - The appeal hearing for Round Two  is scheduled to be heard in Redwood City,  nine months after the judge awarded compensation.
