What's the problem?
In late 2015 the runway "back blast" from San Francisco International Airport became unusually and significantly audible, affecting a sizable contingent of people living in the back blast corridor. Some may have tolerated it initially, reasonably assuming it was a temporary noise issue due to airport construction.
By early 2016, community concerns increased over the disturbing roars and rumbles that were now clearly ongoing. Three and a half years of attempts to gain insight from airport officials were futile. SFO continues to maintain that nothing has changed at their airport that would have resulted in such disturbing noise levels after years of tranquility.
